This website is an independent resource for people visiting Oman, founded by travel writer and content creator Claire Hall.
Claire moved to Muscat in 2022 and spent nearly three years building up a wealth of knowledge about exploring this often overlooked corner of the Arabian Peninsula.
Whether you want to discover the Sultanate’s diverse landscapes, seek out less explored places or just kick back and relax, Oman Wanderlust has plenty of suggestions for you.

About the editor
As well as being the travel writer behind this website, Claire has been blogging since 2012. She is also the editor of Tin Box Traveller and Devon with Kids.
Tin Box Traveller is currently ranked no.1 in the Feedspot top 10 UK family travel bloggers and no.2 in the Vuelio Top 10 UK family travel blogs. It has also won and been named as a finalist in multiple industry awards.
Claire now lives in Oxfordshire in the UK but Oman will always have a piece of her heart and she hopes to revisit soon.
